Well  I was sadly out of a camera for a few hours... Hey it was a huge deal for me! But I am back in business now and here are some shots I on our trip up to the snow today! We were stuck in this cloud until we hit 5000 feet or so and then it cleared out and it was beautiful! It was a great date day with my hubby!

Brrrr it was cold this morning but I trucked out to the walking path anyways to get some shots of the beautiful sunrise we had! This area is going to be a large park sometime in the next few months and we are very excited! We have taken the monkeys to this trail on our bikes for years and its my favorite place to take them to run out their crazies! 

Also stay tuned there are some rumors I might get to do some portraits today... FINGERS CROSSED :)

ITS HERE ITS HERE!!!! HOORAY!!! My lighting kit and backdrop is here!! Yay!!! So I might have stalked the FedEx van today and scared the bejesus out of the FedEx man when I swung the door open and ushered him in with my beautiful box before he even had time to knock and run... But hey I was excited!

The boys were super excited... until they realized what it was for then they tried to take the box and escape... But I bribed them with candy and they let me play with them a little bit... Little being the key word. Had I willing subjects I probably would still be playing. But they were good sports seeing as tortured as they have been lately....

I risked my life for this photo...I was standing on the back of my couch trying to get as much in as possible... This was as good as I could get without breaking my neck...

My poor children... I know they are sick of me but hey right now they are who I have to play with soooo buck up young monkeys! We had spaghetti for dinner last night and I broke out the camera for some silly noodle shots and then this morning there was some really nice light for some profile shots in our playroom. Enjoy!

Happy New Year!! I hope your New Years Eve was filled with love and lots of laughs as was mine... Here are some shots of our low key kiddo party. We watched the East Coast ball drop with the kids and 9pm couldn't have come sooner! The kids, my 4 year old mostly, had his fill of the festivities and had started his decline down the grumpy, sassy, slide... But we made it through, we annoyed our neighbors, popped some poppers, blew some horns, and as always good grub was a must. I think shrimp and crab enchiladas might have to be a new New Years Eve tradition!
